Okay, y'all. This little part of our wood floor was damaged. It was *under* the hutch, unseen to us. However, the insurance folks tell us the usual thing is to replace it and whatever wood floor is attached to this, because matches are almost impossible.
This means almost the entire house! John says they will pack up everything for us, move it all, replace the flooring and move the stuff back. Amazing.
So, what I need to know is what do I watch out for? What do I need to do to prepare for this?
What a wonderful opportunity to *force* me to declutter.
