After church this morning, John worked with JT on his room and got it cleaned up and cleaned out. It looks great! (Nana, you can come and look in it now without passing out!)
I got to work on Luci's room. I really should have taken "before" and "after" shots of both of these rooms, the difference is so amazing. Tomorrow the boys and I are going to fix up a bed for Luci in her own room. She's excited about that.
I was sitting in the middle of Luci's floor, going through boxes of stuff and throwing away a bunch of McDonald's Happy Meal toys (Julie, get ready--in a couple of years your Luke will have his own collection you'll be itching to ditch!). I asked Luci to drag another box of toys out of her closet so I could go through them (much easier than me getting up off the floor). I got a nice surprise from Luci: She was chanting the song JT sang in the Power musical as she dragged this box, which weighed as much as she did:
