Circus, Circus

The circus came to town yesterday. I took JT and Luci to see the tent go up. We had visions of elephants pulling the thing up, but we didn't see even one elephant! Very disappointed. Luci was hoping to see Dumbo. Oh well, here the tent is before: during:

We saw a little girl who couldn't have been more than 6 years old helping her dad put up a smaller tent. She pulled ropes like a pro.
Many of the kids from church were there! It was a nice visit for all the moms and dads.

Friends forever! Luci and Kalyn. We met Kalyn and Kathy and Kathy's folks to watch the tent go up. Sorta disappointed in the way the tent went up. It was really nice seeing Kathy, though, and the girls got along much better than they did the last time. (Turns out Luci taught Kalyn a new "game" the last time they were together. The game is called, "MINE!" and is played by two girls, arguing over a doll.) Don't they look like good friends? So sweet yesterday!
